Hello! My name is Emily.
I live in North Central Kansas with my husband and our daughter. I graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and have enjoyed building a career that allows me to support others while also prioritizing time with my family.
I have been with Therapy Practice Solutions since the fall of 2020 and have grown significantly in my role during that time. My primary focus is managing the insurance billing cycle, where I support providers with keeping their revenue processes organized, accurate, and up to date. Through hands-on experience, I have developed strong skills in navigating insurance systems, managing aging claims, tracking down payments, and ensuring information is accurately reflected within EHR systems.
What I enjoy most about my work is the insurance side of billing and the problem-solving that comes with it. I like the challenge of taking on new accounts, digging into outstanding claims, and working with insurance companies to help ensure providers are paid appropriately. It is very rewarding to help bring clarity and resolution to complex billing situations and to provide dependable virtual support that keeps the financial side of a practice running smoothly.
I appreciate working with TPS because it gives me the flexibility to stay home with my daughter while still doing meaningful and engaging work. Being able to support providers remotely while managing the insurance cycle is something I find both fulfilling and impactful.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, crafting, volunteering at church, and visiting with friends and extended family. I love staying active in my community and making the most of my time at home. A fun fact about me is that I once completed an internship with NASCAR during college, and I am also affectionately known as “The Queen of GIFs” among my friends and family!
